On the same vein...
Andy Warhol has been immortalized in my art notebook. On the top we have a free-hand sketch based on the original image. On bottom is a traced depiction of that same original. |
Introducing: Water Colors
|
After visiting the Water Color Society in Liberty Station, I gained a new appreciation for this medium. Water color is an interesting form of paint and a very simplistic way to represent a sophisticated vision. You have capabilities and barriers unlike any other type of paint; the viscosity of watercolor can make it hard to obtain detail but has the potential to "let light through" an image, in ways traditional paint cannot.

Moving forward... Collages!
Human Color
The human face is beautiful. Almost instantly recognizable no matter how hidden, Our faces hold who we are inside. All the same yet all so different, Our color and complexion should not tear us apart But bring us together as humans. |
Two Types of Collages:
Abstract & Representational Abstract: Anything pertaining to seemingly randomized objects that actually contain a deeper theme or meaning. Representational: A thought out string of pictures and words that send a message around a subject of the artist's choosing. |
Our Environment Turning up that thermostat makes your home warmer. But what you may not realize is the effect it has on others’ homes. The global civilization that is Earth also increases in temperature as that dial turns. As that dial turns, The ocean churns, With life that is threatened and tormented by our greedy nature. Strange things will come from the oceans. |
My Wall...
To intertwine our two core classes of second semester, we are creating illustrations to animate that show a side of us we consider to be a "wall"; something we struggle with and in the process of overcoming. This is my wall:
Some Facial Features Drawings...
Fine Art Mash Up
This is my final art piece. However, it was not always this magnificent. I drew images from two different artists, merging them to create this finalized piece.
